2016 was an amazing year of travel! I visited 12 cities that I could write an essay telling you all about it but where’s the fun in that? Sometimes it’s better to experience things for yourself to make your own memories. Here is my year end review of my top 2016 travel memories in pictures.
If you see any cities that you haven’t visited, you’re in luck! You have a whole new year to chop away at your travel list! Get to it! The world is waiting for you!
1. NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge
(Side note: I lived in NYC for almost 3 years and never walked across the bridge while I lived there. In short, this was a big deal for me.)
2. HAVANA, CUBA
Classic car ride around the streets of Havana (drop top was a must)
3. SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge
4. PARIS, FRANCE
I love this city!
5. MILAN, ITALY
Seeing Leonardo da Vinci’s mural painting – The Last Supper
6. VENICE, ITALY
Walking around the beautiful canals and streets
7. FLORENCE, ITALY
Learning to cook pasta from scratch
8. CINQUE TERRE, ITALY
2 mile hike between two towns – Monterosso al Mare and Vernazza. It was breathtaking (literally)! The views were BEAUTIFUL and uphill hike left me gasping for air lol.
