When you think of a night club do you picture it having white walls lined with modern works of art? Fábrica de Arte Cubano (F.A.C.) is the perfect mix of a night club and a modern art museum. The first floor has a full service bar, lounge area, dance floor, stage, flashing lights and booming music.  On the top floor are paintings, nude photos, colorful ceramic skulls and other forms of artistic expression from local artists; all strategically arranged to provide a unique experience.  When walking around the museum it’s easy to forget that there’s a live party going on beneath your feet.

Celebrities such as Usher, Smokey Robinson and Dave Matthews Band have performed at the F.A.C.  The venue is also used for fashion shows from time to time.

This is one of the places I enjoyed the most while in Cuba.  I’m not really into night clubs but I loved the museum aspect and how the F.A.C. brought different types of people together.  If you’re planning a trip to Havana, the F.A.C. should definitely be on your list!
